11ty and websites

I have built this site using 11ty and Hylia and deployed using Netlify. I am super happy with how simple the whole process was. It took a bit of a learning curve to understand the nuances behind using Netlify CMS for the writing workflow, but it is overall a fantastic experience — thanks to Github and its seamless integration with Netlify. The fact that 11ty and Hylia comes with RSS feed out of the box is just the cherry on top of the cake. I had got my domain name using Hover a while back and it took only a few seconds to configure it all.

It amazes me that all you need to create a blog that you manage and completely own is just a web browser.
